Anxiety Herbal Tincture

Anxiety is part of everyone's life, but if you are experiencing anxiety frequently and it's interfering with your day-to-day activities, it might be time to do something about it. While there are several popular prescription medicines, you may be able to reduce your anxiety and mild depression through these herbal supplements which often have fewer side effects than prescription medications. Anti-anxiety herbs contain substances that have been proven to help calm the nervous system and soothe your brain and body. Anti-anxiety herbal formula can be used to put anxiety in its place and take control of your life again! Valerian root, passionflower, hops and scullcap, also known as skullcap, taken in combination make a powerful supplement that can help you to relax and sleep more soundly.

Kava kava affects the brain and other parts of the central nervous system and is used to calm anxiety, stress, and restlessness, and treat sleep problems (insomnia). It is also used for attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), epilepsy, psychosis, depression, migraines and other headaches, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), common cold and other respiratory tract infections, tuberculosis, muscle pain, and cancer prevention. Some people use kava for urinary tract infections (UTIs), pain and swelling of the uterus, venereal disease, menstrual discomfort, and to arouse sexual desire.

Passion Flower (Passiflora incarnata) has a natural calming and sedative effect. It has been found to increase the levels of GABA in the brain, helping your body relax. Passionflower is used to calm anxiety and insomnia. The flavonoids found in Passion flower are responsible for its anti-anxiety and relaxing effects. It has long been used for panic attacks, mild mood swings, nervous tension, hyperactivity, crying spells, irritability, restlessness, hysteria and epilepsy. Passion Flower tinctures are used for sleep problems (insomnia), ADD, ADHD, gastrointestinal (GI), related to anxiety or nervousness, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and for relieving symptoms related to withdrawal from narcotic drugs.

Scullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) has a long history of use in North America for treating anxiety and promoting relaxation. Because of its possible sedative effects, you should not use scullcap in conjunction with other medications that produce these same effects such as antidepressants, barbiturates and anticonvulsants. Users can take the herb to treat epilepsy, insomnia, hysteria, anxiety, withdrawal and delerium. Scullcap herbal extract is also useful in relieving the severity of nervous headaches and may reduce the effects of attention deficit disorder (ADD).

Hops (Humulus lupulus) eases anxiety that leads to insomnia, headache, a racing heart and indigestion. Hops is most effective as an herbal extract that has a long-standing tradition in herbal medicine specifically for anxiety and insomnia dating back 1,000 years. The sedative ingredient methyl-butenol affects the central nervous system by calming you and eventually encouraging sleep and relaxation.

Wood Betony is used for digestion problems including heartburn, diarrhea, and intestinal gas; for breathing problems including bronchitis and asthma; for painful conditions including gout, headache, and facial pain; and for urinary tract conditions including bladder and kidney stones (nephrolithiasis) and bladder pain and swelling (inflammation). It is also used to treat stress and tension, nervousness, and epilepsy. In combination with other herbs, betony is used to treat nerve pain (neuralgia) and anxiety.

Cramp bark (Viburnam opulus)  is used for relieving cramps, including muscle spasms, menstrual cramps, and cramps during pregnancy. Also helpful in treating digestive complaints such as indigestion sometimes associated with anxiety and stress. Cramp bark is also used as a kidney stimulant for urinary conditions that involve pain or spasms. Some people use cramp bark for cancer, hysteria, infection, nervous disorders, a vitamin-deficiency condition called scurvy, and pain and swelling (inflammation) of the uterus (uteritis). Cramp bark is also used to increase urine flow and to cause vomiting, emptying of the bowels, and sleepiness.

Lobelia (Lobelia inflate) is used for breathing problems including asthma, bronchitis, whooping cough, and shortness of breath (apnea) in newborn infants. Some people take lobelia as a sedative to help them relax, an aid for depression and a muscle relaxant. Other people use it to increase sweating. Lobelia is applied to the skin for muscle pain, joint lumps associated with rheumatoid arthritis (rheumatic nodules), bruises, sprains, insect bites, poison ivy, and ringworm.

Purchased this for my 16 year old who has several social anxiety. I asked Patricia if she could make separate tinctures, one for day use and another to help with the evening/sleep where she says her mind keep wondering and she cant sleep. Patricia is wonderful. My teen has now been taking these tinctures for 2 weeks and we notice a significant change in her social activities and she actually is smiling again. Thank you so much for helping us find a natural way to deal with every day anxiety.

Thank you for creating such a wonderful product. This tincture works so well that I have stopped taking all my prescribed medications. After taking Xanax for 2 years and having to suffer all the side effects that come with it, I decided to use something natural. 2 weeks before I started taking this tincture I stopped all prescribed medications. This was hard to do because my body really wanted these chemicals. My anxiety was all over the place but I knew that I really needed to do this. Once my body was clear I started taking the anxiety herbal tincture and within one day I noticed that it was really working. I have been taking this herbal tincture now for 4 weeks and have no anxiety or the panic attacks that come with it.

Knowing that he does have anxiety and Add I combined the ADD/ADHD and his first week on this combo he had NO melt downs or behavior challeges. Praise for being able to treat him naturally.
