A 2005 study published in the "Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry" revealed that Lemongrass tinctures exhibit significant antioxidant activity and may help neutralize unstable free radicals in the body. Unstable free radicals contribute to chronic disease, such as Alzheimer's disease and cancer.  According to studies Lemongrass extracts literally promote cancer cells to commit suicide, which indirectly helps in the prevention of the disease. This action occurs because of the presence of a substance called 'citral' in Lemongrass leaves. It is also believed to prevent the cancer cells from releasing any harmful substances, so they don't threaten their surrounding environment.  

As a mild sedative, Lemongrass's myrcene is an effective relaxant that acts as central nervous system depressant and helps people under stress and hypertension. Lemongrass extracts are highly effective for the treatment of insomnia and other sleeping disorders, confirming the Brazilians' longtime use of the herb for sedation. It relieves the underlying tension and anxiety, which can make it hard for you to fall sleep.  

Lemongrass is a tonic and supplement that is believed to be of great benefit to the skin and nails. Ingredients - Fresh Lemon Grassand and 110 proof certified grain alcohol. 1:3 Ratio

Suggested - Use 6-12 drops in juice, water, under the tongue, or as desired. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool, dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
