This is a unique blend of herbal adaptogens used traditionally to help the body adapt to oxygen deficit due to high altitude and environmental changes. High Summit can be taken when experiencing the symptoms associated with high altitude such as headache, nausea, fatigue, dizziness and insomnia. High Summit can be used upon arrival at high altitude or at the first onset of oxygen deficit.
High Summit Altitude Sickness Tincture includes herbs that have adaptogen enhancing which include: Ginkgo Leaf, Ginseng Root, Reishi Mushroom, Hawthorn Berry & Leaf, Schisandra Berry, Osha Root, German Chamomile, Ginger, Feverfew, and Certified Grain Alcohol.
Suggested Use: 1 teaspoon 2 times per day in a little water, juice or tea. It is best to start High Summit 3 days before traveling to altitude. If this isn't possible starting upon arrival to altitude. Shake well and store in a cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.
Contraindications: If you are taking prescription MAO inhibitors (antidepressants) or blood thinners (aspirin, warfarin, etc.) speak with your doctor before taking this tincture because it contains Ginkgo Biloba Leaf. Please let your doctor know you are using Ginkgo before having surgery, if you are pregnant or if you take painkillers or anti-inflammatory medication or medication for swelling on a regular basis. It is not recommended for epileptics.
If you are injured while climbing and bleeding (this means requiring stitches) let you guide or first aide person know that you have taken a tincture that contains Ginko biloba Leaf which is a blood thinner.
