The beet powder is easy to use and tastes like beets. I put it in my juice in the morning. Also like it as it is organic and made in USA and from a smaller farm.

I was shocked to learn that my ... "USDA Certified Organic" beet powder I had been using was sourced from China. On further investigation, I found that the entire USDA certification process is ripe with fraud. This beat powder is very high quality. It is fresh and mixes well, and I have the peace of mind that it is not full of heavy metals and other contaminants that root vegetables so easily pick up.

I first heard of the efficacy of beets when researching online for remedies for eye floaters and dry eye syndrome. We began eating canned beets, and my husband and I faithfully split a can of beets every day for over a month. During that time, our energy seemed increased, and we were sleeping much more soundly at night. Then, for some reason or another, we forgot about the beets for a week. One day I noticed my eyes were terribly dry and itchy, and my floaters seemed to have increased and or become more opaque, and we both seemed irritable and sluggish. I have been using beet root for about 8 months. I decided to try some organically grown in the US after news about the toxicity of similar products coming from China. I usually mix the beet root powder in water. I will likely buy more products from Mountain Maus.

I didn't know what to expect after I had finished some really good (and a bit pricey) beet root juice powder. My first glass I mixed a couple of tablespoons with water, stirred, drank and a lot of the larger particles ended up on and between my teeth. (that's why we have water piks, right?). Did that a couple of times and decided to use my hand mixer and create a smoothie with protein powder, frozen pineapple or strawberries, almond milk, pecans and plain yogurt. Huge difference! I allowed the hand blender to reduce the larger particles to something much smaller and the results were quite delicious! So smoothies are better than just mixing it with water.

I am so ecstatic that I found beet root powder that is made in the USA and not some foreign country. Received my beet root powder and it is AWESOME!!!! So fresh and the color is off the charts. It smells really good compared to other product that I have purchased from other stores like Mountain Rose and Starwest. A MUST HAVE!!!
