Overview - The common garden beet is a plant we all know and some of us love for the deep red tuber greens that taste similar to spinach. The cultivation of beets dates all the way back to the 8th century B.C. in the Mediterranean and has hybridized for different growth characteristics. Different kinds of Chard are related to beets, grown for their leaves as well as the Sugar Beet, which began being cultivated commercially in Germany in the 18th century when it was discovered that it had a very high sucrose content and was a great source for table sugar. All the various cultures that have ever cultivated beets prized them for their nutritive and medicinal properties. In Eastern Europe Beet Soup is very common and the author was raised on a delicious one made by his Polish Grandmother!

Very Fresh
These are by far the best beet root powder I have purchased. The aroma is amazing and the color is very vibrant. The fact that it is USA grown organically without soil additives and is pesticide free is amazing! The price is amazing!

Comparing this to what they sell on TV in a little jar for $35 bucks, this is not only great quality and in my opinion a better product, the price is pennies comparative.

Couldn't be better
I don't actually have a lot of experience with beet root powder, having only tried one other brand, but I do have a sense of what is good for me. I eat a "clean" diet, and think I can tell good quality. So, the upshot is that I think it is top-notch. I take this to cleanse my body and add nutrients on a daily basis. It tastes really nice and I highly recommend it. I appreciate Mountain Maus offering this product.

A beet root powder I can trust
I went through Amazon looking for organic beet root powder that is grown and dried in the US and not in countries like China, because pollution is severe there and organic certification fraudulence is common. I am glad I kept looking elsewhere and found Mountain Maus Remedies. The powder smells wonderful and tastes great. I mix it into a beverage as well as use it for a lip and cheek stain.

Awesome
This was my first experience with beet root powder and this stuff is great, takes all the hard work out of cutting up the beets and throwing it all into the blender only to have chunks in my drink, this is a great time saver, comes sealed in a nice package and is very fresh, i look forward to opening the bag everytime, will be ordering again when we have finished our first two bags.
