Yeast Infection Wash

Candidiasis occurs when our natural intestional flora becomes unbalanced by overuse of sugar, artificial sweeteners, steroids, tobacco, antibiotics, chlorine, and pesticides (causing an overabundance of candida). Sometimes a weakened immune system is to blame. Tight jeans, the use of nylon underwear over a very long period of time, and sudden changes in hormonal levels can increase the risk of yeast production.

Problems occur when Candida switches from a non-invasive, sugar fermenting yeast to an invasive fungus with long, root-like structures. In time, these rhizoids can penetrate intestinal walls, leaving tiny holes that allow undigested food particles and bacteria to enter the bloodstream.

Symptoms of Candidiasis include fatigue, depression, digestive problems, abdominal pain, indigestion, heartburn, sore throat, white coating on the tongue, cough, sinus problems, bad breath, itching, headaches, skin rashes, milky discharge, and re-occurring vaginal yeast infections.

If Candidiasis is suspected, a cleansing diet is recommended. Avoid all sugar, dairy products (except yogurt), vinegar, coffee, black tea, caffeine, colas, alcohol, and artificial sweeteners. Avoid nuts (except almonds) and mushrooms. Carbohydrates, preservatives, processed foods, smoked meats, dried fruits, pickles, cured meats, and breads should be limited to extremely small portions.

Yogurt that contains lactobacillus acidophilus should be eaten daily. Raw garlic is also extremely beneficial. Fresh vegetables including onions, ginger root, cabbage, broccoli, and sea veggies should be consumed in large amounts. Diet should also include poultry, sea food, olive oil, eggs, brown rice, buckwheat, barley, millet, soy, tofu, rice cakes, and green drinks.

Oregano, thyme, peppermint, yellowroot, barberry, chamomile, or rosemary tea should be taken throughout the recovery period of four to six weeks. Black walnut extract is recommended and shows excellent results. Evening primrose, licorice tincture, echinacea tincture, grapefruit seed extract, bromelain (from pineapples), red marine algae, zinc, aloe vera juice, and milk thistle extract may also bring relief. Everyone is different so experiment to see what works best.

Rotate herbal remedies to keep from building up resistance. Get lots of sleep and laugh every day to reduce stress. Foot massages can help. Concentrate on the instep area to stimulate colon, liver, and adrenal health.

An effective vaginal treatment is a douche of diluted tea tree oil and calendula infusion in warm water. Wash rectal area with a solution of garlic, echinacea, and myrrh after every bowel movement. You can make suppositories by combining 20 drops of tea tree essential oil, 10 drops of thyme essential oil, and a fourth cup of cocoa butter. Divide into 12 portions and keep in refrigerator until needed. Use one every eight to twelve hours.

This Herbal Remedy is designed specifically for women, and to be used topically, it is considered anti-infective, as it promotes restoration of damaged tissue including mucosal membranes in the vaginal area. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect which helps to relieve itching and inflammation. Unfortunately about 75% of all women will get a yeast infection as least once in their life. Men can and do get yeast infections, although the occurrence for this isn't as high as it is in women. Yeast infections, candidiasis, thrush, Candida, and vaginitis by any other name, still a yeast infection. Frequent washing with soaps, douching, prolonged menstruation, and unhygienic practices can contribute to a change in pH balance of a woman's flora. Based on research, feminine washes that contain harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances may cause more irritation than good. This yeast infection remedy may also help to relieve the vaginal dryness often experienced with vaginal atrophy. It is useful for the sensitive times in a woman's life, such as with pregnancy, after childbirth, during menstruation or vaginal sensitivity, after physical activities like aerobics, and after swimming in swimming pools, relaxing hot tubs or wading in the ocean.

It has the ability to penetrate the skin and transport healthy substances, which helps to retain its moisture. One of nature's best hydrators, it provides numerous other benefits to the skin, acting as an excellent moisturizer keeping the skin flexible by giving oxygen to the cells, which can increase the strength and synthesis of the skin tissue. Aloe vera extracts not only moisten the vaginal tissues, but they soothe inflammation and itchiness. Aloe vera offers antiviral, antibacterial and analgesic properties, as well. According to the Health Library, Aloe vera juice was shown as being effective in a double blind study to soothe genital herpes and help to clear the herpes sores more quickly. White Oak Bark is a powerful astringent, and considered a hemostatic, or substance that helps to stop bleeding. When used externally, White Oak bark's tannins protect injured tissues by precipitating their proteins to for an antiseptic, protective coat under which regeneration of new tissue takes place. This action is found to be useful as a topical antiseptic for wounds, skin abrasions and to relieve flabby ulcers. The tannins bind with protein in the tissues making them impermeable to bacterial invasion and infection, and this action has been found to be very helpful for treating a wide variety of infections such as vaginal infection (including vaginitis and leucorrhoea), gleet (urethritis), canker sores and, in this wash, for cleansing vaginal discharges.

I suffered from a mild to thick discharge with itchiness. I have been diagnosed with yeast infections numerous times and given prescribed medication that took care of the problem for a little while. I tried this wash and within two days I felt normal again. This is an answered prayer and I have had no reassurances after using it for 2 weeks.
