I have been working with quassia for some time, preparing both aqueous and alcohol extracts for household use. This is some of the best quality product I've seen. The color is good, the wood is clearly fresh, the chips are a manageable size for efficient extraction, and the aroma is unmistakable. [Good quassia has an unmistakable butterscotch aroma when extracted with ethyl alcohol. This quassia is superb.] Not to mention the classic "bitters" flavor to the water extract. These quassia chips extract far better than any I've bought before, and I expect to be buying from Mountain Maus in future. Not only that, I'm looking forward to trying other herbal products too.
