Linden Herbal Tincture

Overview - Tilia is a genus of about 30 species of trees native throughout most of the temperate Northern Hemisphere. Commonly called lime trees in the British Isles, they are not closely related to the lime fruit. Other names include linden and basswood.

Parts used -  Leaves and flowers

Medicinal use -  Linden has been used to induce sweating for feverish colds and infections, reduce nasal congestion, and relieve throat irritation and cough. Linden has sedative effects and has been used to treat nervous palpitations and high blood pressure. It has also been used in lotions for itchy skin. 

Ingredients: Linden flower and certified 110 proof grain Alcohol. NO WATER ADDED!

Suggested: Use 6-12 drops in juice or water, or under the tongue. May be taken 3 times daily. Shake well. Store in cool dark place. Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions - Don’t take linden flower tincture within 2 hours of taking any vitamin and mineral supplement, since the mucilage’s in the tea can interfere with the absorption of nutrients from the supplement.
